Top 10 reasons I love Pure Barre: 1) I was warmly accepted and quickly taken under the “wings” of the awesome instructors on day 1! 2) Everyone wants you to do your best & I really appreciate all the instructors showing me how to correct my form and also encouraging me & others throughout class.
I love this place! I am starting from nothing; I’m not an athlete, loathe working out, and I decided on a whim to try pure barre. Well it has inspired me and changed the trajectory of my life. All of the staff/instructors are so sweet and kind. Everyone is empowering and my confidence has grown so much.

As someone who did not work out at all prior to joining Pure Barre, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a full body workout. I am not motivated to work out on my own, so I knew I needed a class setting.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
