From the reviews
Pure Barre Greenville, offers the best of all workouts. The wide selection of classes for beginner or long time members are wonderful. Excellent instructors who are always professional and so personable , everyone feels welcome. I hope to continue into my old lady years 😁
I had such a wonderful experience at this Pilates studio! I was visiting from out of state but still wanted to keep up with my workouts, and they made the entire process so easy and welcoming. The owner, Macy, was incredibly accommodating and such a pleasure to meet.
Simply put it’s the best workout you can get! I have been with Pure Barre for 11 years and still feel it in every class. Very doable with some modifications on my part for every format with my bodily issues and that’s why I appreciate it.
Everyone at PB Augusta Road knows their stuff about body movements and they are truly helpful with their corrections/modifications. I am getting stronger and it’s helping my other activities as well as my CONFIDENCE. When I am stronger I feel stronger to express more love and joy and faith in a more peaceful way.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
