From the reviews
The unlimited membership is so so SOOO worth it!! On top of a beautiful studio and wonderful instructors, they have an amazing retail selection that will make you feel like a million bucks and the quality definitely cannot beat anything I’ve found before.
I have been taking pure barre on and off since 2012/2013 at different studios all over the country. Pure Barre Goodyear specifically has the most amazing and supportive community, but also the instructors are top tier.
Absolutely wonderful team of instructors who encourage and celebrate the women and men that come through the studio doors. The energy inside of PBG has helped me physically but renewed my mental and emotional wellbeing. Proud to be a part of an amazing group of supportive humans.
I signed up for a monthly membership to Pure Barre Goodyear before it even opened for business. That was out of character because I'm reluctant to take risks BUT after an email exchange with Gabriella, the owner, it seemed like it could be a good fit for me.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
