From the reviews
I started pure barre at this location one year ago and it’s been one of the best decisions i’ve ever made! All the different class types are great, the instructors are amazing, and the community around this studio is something really special. I can’t say enough great things about pure barre East Longmeadow!
Since starting in December I have become obsessed with Pure Barre! Every single coach is amazing but I want to give a special shout-out to Amy and Chelsea. You both have been extremely supportive since my first week, in and out of the studio. I can’t say enough good things about Pure Barre EL!
What a wonderful and supportive community at Pure Barre East Longmeadow. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they are always checking in on you. I feel good and not embarrassed of if I have to modify a movement. The place is super clean and comfortable
As someone who could never find the right fitness routine or class since high school, I have to say Pure Barre is the best workout I’ve ever done, and the only one I’ve actually stuck to. Every class is a challenge, but the teachers motivate and guide you through every move.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
