From the reviews
I've been a regular at Pure Barre Danville since February 2024, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The Livery location is incredibly convenient, especially for those of us living in the Tri-Valley area. The studio has a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and professional.
I love Pure Barre! Pure Barre has fostered an incredible community of instructors and patrons alike. Everyone is always so friendly to me and makes me feel at home, even though I'm a little bit of a nervous person and struggle to feel welcome in most spaces.
Pure Barre is a great community to be a part of. Everyone encourages each other. The instructors are really great, super helpful, adjust your form when needed, and they know you by name. They celebrate your goals and help hold you accountable. The staff is awesome. Jennifer is very sweet and always helpful.
I absolutely love attending Pure Barre. I needed a new exercise routine and am so thankful I found it. The whole staff is so welcoming and ensure you are exercising correctly so you will not injure yourself. My body and mind feel 100% better and I look forward to setting my classes for the week.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
