From the reviews
Pure Barre is just what I needed! I love love love the classes! Been going for 3 months now and I don’t want to stop. I walk in happy, and walk out happier! The classes are fast paced and music driven, but what I love is that you can accommodate to what you need.
I just recently started taking Pure Barre classes and I couldn't be happier with my entire experience so far! I went with a friend to try out a class and took advantage of the first free week and I was proud to get 3 punches in my card!
I started Pure Barre as a way to get in shape after gaining quite a bit of wait and becoming really deconditioned. Not only is the staff very warm and professional, but they made sure I felt comfortable getting back into this type of environment.
Tried Pure Barre since I got a week free and have heard great things. I also have some running injuries so I needed to figure out a way to build back my strength. In only two weeks I'm feeling so much stronger, seeing results and my injury pain is lessening! Every instructor has been wonderful.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
