From the reviews
I had the pleasure of attending Aisha's classes, and I can confidently say she is an exceptional teacher. Her ability to explain techniques clearly and motivate her students is truly inspiring.
Great work out! I’ve been out of shape for a while and wanted to try something new that would motivate me. I used to be more active and 25 pounds lighter. I took one class tonight and I felt like my body needed it. Audrey was our instructor. Audrey motivates and inspires!
I have an autoimmune disease and made sure to be very communicative to the team and the instructor, Audrey. I haven’t worked out in almost two years and was very excited but also so nervous to see how I would manage doing a barre class. I started with the intro class- Everyone was super friendly and very helpful!
PURE BARRE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! I've tried everything from personal training to at home videos but Pure Barre is what works best for my body! I do not get injured anymore and the soreness isn't debilitating. My flexibility has progressed to the point of when I was a 6 year old in gymnastics and I'm 40 this year!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
