If you’re looking for an amazing workout, you’ll find one at @purebarrewestside. If you’re ready to elevate to the next level, they’ve got you covered. Bring the heat, tuck, and burn PBWS has you covered!
Lots of available classes - multiple times and day, and I like that they rotate when classic/empower options are available. I go to 6 a.m. classes and I like being able to take classic some days and empower on others. Friendly and welcoming front desk staff - even on those 6 a.m. days.
I am not much of a "group" class person due to self-consciousness about lack of coordination and flexibility; however, I have felt completely comfortable at Pure Barre. The instructors are all very knowledgeable and represent the Pure Barre "brand" well.
I love my Pure Barre body! I actually noticed a difference after my very first class. Going made me feel better instantly and now that I've gone more than 20 times I am incredibly happy with the results and will continue going as long as I possibly can.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
