From the reviews
Barre3 is a great low impact very effective workout. The workouts are consistently changing and challenging. The instructors all have different styles and are good. They offer so many modifications and stay very tuned in to your body needs in that moment.
This studio has been so amazing, from the staff always wanting to get to know me as a newer client, to the people in the classes themselves. If you are looking for a workout community where you can be uplifted by strong women, you have found it in barre3.
I’m still coming to barre3, and my experience only gets better over time. I now train 5 days a week, and the benefits are more than obvious: I feel much stronger and fitter. What I highlight most is the high level of the instructors, who are incredibly professional.
Barre3 Buckhead is an excellent workout in the most inclusive, warm and encouraging environment. I have gone several times a week for the past 6 months and it’s been transformative. I have regained muscle tone and balance, have visible arm and shoulder muscles, and my legs and core are stronger too!
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
