I absolutely love Kinnect Fitness!! Ashley and her team provide a holistic approach to wellness, and make sure every workout provides not only safe and effective movement, but thoughtful meditation, encouraging optimism, and a true sense of community.
I stumbled upon a genuine fitness community after walking into The Dailey Method studio. Not only is every single person kind and uplifting, the workouts are killer! I was so relieved to find a studio with such a welcoming and supportive environment that also kicked my butt time and time again. My search is over.
I loved absolutely everything about the Dailey Method! From the variety of class types and times, to the incredible instructors, to the loving childcare, to the beautiful facilities, I loved them all!!! Also the location was incredibly convenient to walk to if you lived in Little Italy or downtown.

Your first barre class at Kinnect Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
