From the reviews

I always leave this studio so glad that I attended class here. This is 60 minutes of variety that keeps me moving and motivated and getting stronger - and each time I've attended class, no 2 work-outs have been exactly the same. I've liked all of the instructors I've had at this studio.

I enjoyed this class. Out of town and had wanted to try a Barre 3 class. More yoga focused with longer holding patterns than another Barre company I have taken. Love the differences. It was a good workout and I'll be sore tomorrow. This studio was large, clean, and folks were welcoming and friendly.

Before Pandemic, I used to go to this place religiously for over a year... Barre3 was the first ever/only workout class that I really enjoyed - it was actually fun! Here is the list of things I liked; 1. owner/ instructor: Jennifer is very engaging.

★★★★★ — Jiwon, May 2022

Barre3 offers a great full body workout in an hour. The instructors are knowledgeable and offer assistance in finding modifications if you need them. The studio is nice and the music for each class really gets you motivated. Classes are alittle pricey but they offer a few specials that you can take advantage of.

Your first barre class at barre3

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
