From the reviews
My absolute favorite workout in the city. You can really take each class at your own pace and go as beast mode or as zen as you’d like. Judgment free environment with the most lovely staff! I loooove Barre3!
I loved the candlelight class with Dana! Her energy is amazing, and I got such a great workout. I will definitely be taking more of her classes and look forward to trying out the other instructors at this location as well.
The first time I came to b3, I practically had to be dragged through the doors... I was intimidated by group fitness, terrified of barre, and nervous I'd make a fool of myself. Now you practically can't get me to leave the place!
I love this studio! Everyone is so welcoming and kind. The classes are challenging yet so fun. I encourage all my friends to at least try out a few classes here. I was hooked after only 1 class. The memberships are affordable, and the schedule is packed with options for all.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
