The classes they teach
“Have to supplement with additional (arm and back) workouts because barre3 ones tend to focus on lower body and abs.”

“Really like Rebecca and Haleh as instructors. Great workout (signature is my preferred format), though they tend to feel quite similar once you've been to enough.”
“The teachers give you a great workout with ways to make it harder, if you want, and ways to take it easier on your body, if you want.”

From the reviews
What an amazing vibe these classes have! Every trainer have their unique style of taking the classes. Love the incredible energy during Signature 60 and Cardio classes and the balance/ focus they have during Strength classes. I got surprised when they end the session with quick 2-3 minutes of meditation and relaxation.
Barre3 Menlo Park is THE BEST ever! The fitness instructors each have their own style while giving consistent stretching and strengthening exercises. So that means it’s alway fun, never boring. And I come almost every day! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. I love coming ❤️
I am LOVING Barre3!! The people who work there are so kind and helpful and I’ve had some lovely chats with other clients and teachers. It feels like a nice community. The teachers give you a great workout with ways to make it harder, if you want, and ways to take it easier on your body, if you want.
The classes at barre3 have been great. I like that there are different options for classes - 45 and 60 min, and cardio / strength / signature. Personally, I like the strength classes the best. The instructors are uplifting and welcoming. The studio is very clean and has a great vibe.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
