I had the best experience at barre3 Franklin! I was in Franklin on vacation and decided to join barre3 for the first time, and I’m so glad I did. From my very first class, everyone was so welcoming, encouraging, and helpful.
Barre3 is the workout format I return to over and over. Nowhere else do I find a more effective core workout, especially. All of the instructors at Barre3 Brentwood/Franklin are super professional, personable and attentive to every person in class.
I cannot more highly recommend Barre3. Their workouts are more than just about physical transformation (which is an awesome added bonus). It is a community where all are welcomed, celebrated and encouraged. All their instructors are phenomenal and the owners are truly incredible leaders and humans. Xo Anna land
I had a wonderful experience at Barre3 of Franklin. The instructor was very upbeat and I really enjoyed the playlist as well. I worked up a really good sweat. The studio was very welcoming and I can't wait to take another class at Barre3. I purchased a 5 class package deal and I can't wait to use them.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
