From the reviews
Been coming here for a few years now- as a former college athlete who has done just about every exercise, I was really excited to find a studio that offered so much variety in each class that I could adapt to my body’s post-career physical limitations. The main selling point for me however was the childcare option!
I have participated in a variety of exercises in my lifetime and I can say that there isn't a single one that holds a candle to barre3! I look forward to going everyday and it is the BEST way to start your day. It is challenging, energizing and never the same.
Barre3 is a great workout with amazing instructors! They are all so welcoming and encouraging. The Signature class a perfect mix of cardio and strength training and I love that they make time for mindfulness and breath work. They also offer a B3 Strength class and a Mindful Flow yoga class which are also great.
I have thoroughly enjoyed attending classes at barre 3. Everyone is so welcoming and they make sure you know exactly what to do before jumping into anything. The flexibility in the times of classes everyday has been perfect for my crazy schedule.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
