From the reviews
I’ve taken over 25 classes at Barre3 and absolutely love it. The signature classes give a full cardio + strength + flexibility workout, and the “B3 Strength 45” class is amazing for building strength. Instructors are skilled, encouraging, and offer great modifications.
I am beyond thrilled that there is finally a barre3 in Asheville! The instructors are knowledgeable and motivating; and the entire staff has been so kind. The workouts are strenuous, yet approachable.
I absolutely love this barre studio! From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much care is put into every detail. The space is always spotless, organized, and welcoming, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to stay consistent with your workouts. The instructors are truly top-notch.
Barre 3 is what Biltmore Park and Asheville needed. The studio is beautiful and the space is perfect. I was able to take my 2-year old with me as they have a play lounge with a staffed attendant so that you can take your class with peace of mind. He even loved it and made two little friends while he was there.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
