Absolutely thrilled to share my experience as I celebrate two incredible years of commitment to my body transformation this October! The barre classes have not only challenged my body but have also empowered my mind, helping me become the best version of myself. Sammy and Candance are truly exceptional trainers.
My family and I are between California and Idaho and I found this place during our latest four months stint in Valencia. Today was my last class before going back, and after going consistently for these four months, I have to say that of any workout I’ve ever done, this is the strongest I’ve ever felt.
Great classes here but Saturday mornings are packed! I ended up with a muscle injury because I tried to give it all and push through too far out of my physical limitations.
I live in Seattle and NOTHING compares to True Barre in Valencia. Sami is AMAZING. The studio is clean and very friendly. EVERY visit I make to Valencia, CA will be not a 1 stop to True Barre, but MANY STOPS :) Gosh I wish you were in Seattle. Can't wait to come in April!!!!!
Your first barre class at True Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
