What members say again and again
“I have gone here since high school, over 10 year now, and finding Suzi is one of the best things to EVER happen to me and my family.”
From the reviews
I have been going to Suzy's classes for nearly 20 years. She is an excellent teacher. I have had several health issues and she is excellent at working around my issues and keeping me strong. I know that I would never be where I am today without her guidance. The classes are friendly and fun.
The review left by this person Sara is utterly unfounded and in a word, ridiculous. I have attended Complete Pilates several times. It has always been a great and challenging experience with lots of attention paid to me. My wife goes religiously four times per week and has for nine years.
Suzi is remarkably knowledgeable, professional, creative and attentive. Because of her years of expertise, she personalizes the workout for each individual in class based on fitness goals, ability, focus area or injury recovery as needed.
I’m so happy I stumbled upon Complete Pilates and Fitness! I was in the area temporarily, looked around for exercise options near my hotel, and found that Suzi offers an entire FREE WEEK of workouts.
Your first barre class at Complete Pilates & Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
