Amanda is awesome! Goddess Pilates offers a great variety of classes that all have you working hard. Her small group classes allow for individualized attention. She has a calming presence but will push you to your limits to make you stronger.
I’ve been to many classes with Amanda, and I can’t say enough good things about it. Amanda is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled, but she’s also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.
Amanda is a true Pilates Goddess. She's awesome and knows her stuff. She seems perfectly sweet until it's time to get down to business. :) She always makes sure I get a thorough, full-body workout. The space at Goddess Pilates is absolutely perfect. The design is stunning and functional. The location is convenient.
Amazing class! Challenging and felt my body working. Left feeling strong will definitely stop back in the future. Highly recommend, Amanda was a great instructor, it was my first time using the tower and I felt guided through everything with ease. This class is amazing for core work and getting that snatched waist.
Your first barre class at The Sculpt
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
