From the reviews

Love Barre3! I moved to Morristown area a little over a year ago and tried a few different workout places...I am so glad I found Barre3. The studio is beautiful and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The classes are amazing and empowering - I have never felt stronger.

My favorite workout! The owners Lisa and Rebecca are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They and their staff are amazing. They get to know you and remember your crunchy body points and work with you to modify the exercises to suit you. Each instructor chooses their class structure for the hour.

★★★★★ — Ashley, Nov 2018

I have been going to Barre3 Morristown for 8 years and it is my favorite work out by far! I have a membership now and highly recommend it. Every single instructor and staff person is compassionate, skilled, attentive, and friendly. Classes are always fresh. Love it!

I was a member of Barre3 Morristown about 7 years ago. Following Covid and 2 subsequent shoulder surgeries I was ready to get into shape again. I am so excited to be back with Barre3! It is the perfect workout for me - strenuous but also gentle on my joints. Did I mentioned I am also in my late 60's and a grandmother!

Your first barre class at barre3

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
