From the reviews
This studio is hands down the best studio for Pilates, barre and yoga. You get one on one help even in busy classes. Unlike other studios that just start and don't pay attention to how the students are doing they are always watching to make sure and help you do it right.
The instructors at Team Pilates are incredibly knowledgeable. They can help with many types of problems. I have a lower back issue from a car accident in the late1980s. This is the first time since the car accident that I have had relief from the injury. Thank you Team Pilates!
Although I am far away, like oceans away , I should speak my words up and lift the hat up for the greatest instructor, teacher , mentor , Angelie Meltzer, the CEO. She an outstanding woman who cares a lot about her students , clients and all the people around her .
Seriously one of the best Pilates, Barre and Gyrotonic places you can go anywhere in the US and as a military spouse I have moved around enough to have a good perspective on good vs. bad.
Your first barre class at Team Pilates Barre & Yoga
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
