From the reviews
I have never done a workout class before and I couldn’t have chose a better studio for my first mat Pilates class. The teacher I had is very friendly and she encourages you every step of the way. Getting ahold of the studio before class for all my questions (being new and all) was easy. The studio itself is adorable.
I absolutely love Studio Bend. The classes are great, the environment is welcoming and friendly, and all the instructors are so good!! They do a great job of bringing their unique personalities to class while still kicking your butt. Highly recommend!!
Studio Bend, where have you been all my life! With a wide variety of Barre, Pilates, and Yoga classes offered, there is something for everyone. This is a space that welcomes men and women of any shapes. Every instructor is well trained and personable. It feels like you are walking in to hang out with your girlfriends.
Fitness studios can be a little intimidating but Studio Bend has a welcoming, warm environment. It’s clean, organized, and beautiful inside. The instructors are kind, welcoming, and respectful of everyone’s fitness journey.
Your first barre class at Studio Bend
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
