From the reviews
Real Fit Cedarburg under new ownership just keeps getting better! The gym has everything you could want, from cardio and weight training to a wide variety of classes, all at a price that is hard to beat. What really sets Real Fit apart are instructors Holly and Shannon.
Shannon and Holly are truly the dream team when it comes to hot mat Pilates & Sculpt. Between Shannon’s perfectly synced pulses to the beat and Holly bringing the spicy burn every class, you know you’re in for a workout that pushes you in the best way possible.
100/10 — I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, it felt so welcoming and accommodating. It was my first time here, and I finally took a class with Holly after wanting to for a while… and I’m SO glad I did.
The attention to patrons health and safety is first class. The upgrade to the air system in addition to cleaning protocols puts me at ease when using the facility for exercise.
Your first barre class at Real Fitness
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
