From the reviews
Pure Barre has helped me to get my confidence back in working out. As the more classes build up, the stronger I feel yet I am still consistently challenged every class. Lauren’s class was amazing and the perfect combo of challenging but also plenty of helpful adjustments to help me get stronger. I just love this place.
Kelsey is always awesome! Two years later. Ok folx. Rhis place was my first barre classs ever and Sophie was awesome and so kind and friendly as well as a skilled instructor. The excercizes were very easy and such a great workout for those looking to try barre. Definitely will be back soon!
I've been attending this studio for exactly a year today and boy, oh, boy has it changed me for the better. This is a fitness studio filled with the most helpful and encouraging teachers. I feel stronger, more confident and belong to a great community now.
Pure Barre is the most effective workout I have done in years (and actually stuck with). I started in late January 2019 and have noticed a significant difference in my entire body (arms, abs, thighs, butt, posture, strength level, endurance)!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
