From the reviews
It’s been awhile since I wrote my last review. Decided to update my review since I started working out here regularly again last October. Still a 5 star review! Still a great workout. Lots of modifications available for every move to accommodate people with various injuries (hips, knees, shoulders, backs, etc.
Walking in you immediately will be welcomed with a smile, feeling so invited. All instructors are amazing. I love that it doesn’t matter what experience you have you can fit right in. You will even find the owner working the front desk, Working the play lounge, Or even taking a class with you.
I am so happy that I started going to Barre 3. I have always loved to exercise, but this is mental and physical exercise that is rejuvenating! The teachers truly care about you and are helpful, but not overbearing. Another huge plus is the childcare.
I had a fantastic experience with Barre3 Tulsa. Both Lindsay and Jenni were incredibly supportive through my first three classes offering modifications and encouragement. This total body workout will leave you feeling accomplished and relaxed. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
