Loving Pure Barre Scottsdale! Each class offers something different and is challenging in its own way (currently really enjoying Classic & Define). The studio is clean and there is lots of parking. The boutique is always stocked with cute merch and the owner often runs sales on must-haves!
I love pure barre. The classes are challenging even after going for years. The instructors are amazing. They are super knowledgeable and encouraging. There are frequent challenges that keep me motivated and consistent. Overall, I love pure barre!
The classes fly by! You get such a great workout and really work muscles you didn’t even know existed. The community of people taking and teaching the classes are so supportive and kind. A lovely place to lift, tone, and burn!
One of the best Pure barre Studios I’ve ever been to. Kait the owner is amazing, all the trainers and staff are very welcoming and professional. Classes are amazing, such a good vibe. Highly recommended.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
