From the reviews
I’ve never been so obsessed with a place in my life. I’m usually just a yogi but having a baby makes it hard for me to go to a yoga studio. I saw that Barre 3 has a play lounge so I try this place out and to my shock , it not only has a baby area but everything else I didn’t know I needed.
When I moved to the Valley two years ago, I was looking for a fitness studio to become my home away from home. I’d been taking Barre3 classes online and knew I loved the quality, challenge, and balance of the workouts but my first class at the North Scottsdale studio blew me away. It was love at first sight!
As barre3 North Scottsdale celebrates its 11th birthday, I reminded myself that I’ve been part of this group for close to 10 years. I’d love to reflect on my personal journey and express the joy I have in my heart for barre3 North Scottsdale.
I’ve been a proud member of Barre3 Scottsdale for over 5 years, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best parts of my life. From my very first class, I felt welcomed into a warm, inviting space that radiates positivity and strength. It’s not just a workout, it’s a community.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
