From the reviews
The best Pure Barre location with the BEST instructors(and music)!!! Having a chronic illness I am supposed to workout everyday which is no small feet and also something I used to dread, but I actually look forward to my daily PB PV classes!
I signed up for the free intro class and could not recommend it more! Ahead of + upon arrival, the owner Whitni + the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. They were very helpful getting me set up as a first-timer + outlining what to expect. My intro class with Mariessa exceeded my expectations!
I’ve never done a Barre class before and what an amazing workout. This week I was able to try out the different classes and it was such an experience! I burned over 500 calories a class and was using muscles that I didn’t know I had. I’ve been trying to try different studios and I’m so glad I came here!
I have been a member of the Pure Barre family for about two months and I have to say I couldn't have made a better choice. The Pure Barre team at the Scottsdale location is a team filled with empowering, caring and passionate women.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
