From the reviews
I wanted to share my experience at Pure Barre Roseville. I am 51 years old and have worked out most of my life. When I joined Pure Barre at Kristen's Roseville location it was the best thing I could do for my life and health.
This is a great studio! I have been chronically ill for a few years and have been feeling better recently so I decided I needed to start exercising again. I'm very out of shape because of this, and I was nervous about attending class.
I love going to Pure Barre! The instructors are encouraging, the atmosphere upbeat, and the community welcoming and fun. If you want a great workout, try it out!
I started coming to Pure Barre in 2018 and then when I moved back to area, I immediately starting going back. The team has created such a positive and encouraging community. All the instructors are friendly and encouraging. I throughly enjoy my hour of me time to recharge and des tress.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
