From the reviews
If you’re thinking about joining this Pure barre studio my advice would be, run don’t walk! This studio in Pooler is truly a GEM! I recently moved from Atlanta to Pooler 10 months ago and was afraid of the loneliness a new town would bring. Luckily there’s Pure barre here in Pooler so i immediately joined!
This place has improved my life by not only losing 30 pounds, but also boosting my confidence and self worth. My instructors push me to be the best version of myself and been my driving force on the quest to loving myself ❤️❤️❤️
I could not begin say how much Pure Barre has changed my life. I had lived in the Pooler area for several years, and one friend kept trying to get me to go to a class with her. Finally, I did. I was not the best, which was something that didn't come easily to me.
I knew Pure Barre was a great workout before I started going full time, but what I didn't realize was how amazing the instructors and owners are at creating an atmosphere that's healthy and so so happy!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
