I recently signed up in July and I am very happy that I did. I love the community and the motivation that I am getting from the instructors with all the ladies. I will admit that it is a little on the pricy side, but as someone who has tried the big gyms and tried working out by myself, Pure Barre is amazing.
Tried my first Barre class and absolutely LOVED it! The instructors, music, and fun workout made for a great experience. Can’t wait for the next Empower Class.
Love this Pure Barre studio! Such a great workout -- feeling stronger every day. 💪
This is a very hard workout, but I have fun, and can feel the little differences each week. The reason I keep coming back is because two of your class leaders have impressed me so much. I don't still feel like a beached whale!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
