From the reviews
PB Owensboro is a wonderful studio full of supportive and empowering women! I was in town for just a few weeks and was confused about moving studios. When Annie saw that I had made an account I explained my situation and she offered me a 7 day pass so I could tuck and burn as much as possible.
Pure Barre Owensboro is one of the greatest businesses to come to Owensboro! The workout is challenging, fun, and the instructors are up beat and encourage you to reach your goals! It’s for every age, body type, and individual! I always leave feeling better than when I walked through the doors!
I met the owner yesterday, and while I haven’t taken a class nor do I live in Owensboro, I am confident you will have a great experience here. The owner is thoughtful, caring and will for sure make your experience fun! If I lived there I would join today!!
Pure barre is my happy place! You won't find a more supportive group of women who celebrate your accomplishments in any other gym. I have made life log friends with my barre buddies!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
