From the reviews
I am visiting my parents who live in Newburgh but I live in Vermont. I have never taken a Pure Barre class before but I am pretty active and I found the Align class just the right level of challenging! The instructor, Jaime, took time to talk to me prior to the class even though I was just a drop-in, which was so kind.
Pure Barre has been with me since before the great "Covid world pause", and I am forever grateful. If you need a workout place to belong that is judgement free and can be modified to your needs, THIS IS THE PLACE! Love all the instructors, and you always leave class with a smile...though maybe a bit sweaty 🤭.
Love Evansville pure barre. Is safe to say I’m addicted. I been going for 2 months now and I already see the results. The instructors have been so helpful and patient with me. Definitely recommend!!!
Pure Barre Evansville is fun and always challenging. I am sore in all the right places! The instructors are very patient and encouraging.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
