From the reviews

I love Pure Barre Lake Nona! I’ve been a member since January 2023 and it has become my happy place. I enjoy the different class formats that give you a full body workout, the amazing instructors, like my girl Kaylee D, that not only challenge but correct your form and the barre babes I have met along the way.

★★★★★ — Adriana, Jun 2026

I had the BEST experience at Pure Barre Lake Nona! I took class with Kirsten and she was incredible—so motivating, clear, and full of great energy. The studio itself is beautiful: super clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. I was also really impressed by their retail selection—tons of cute options!

★★★★★ — Amanda, May 2025

Absolutely life changing! I can wait to get to class! I am not a devoted exerciser, but joining this group and the encouragement of the instructors, keep me coming back again and again! Wish there were more classes on weekends. My goal is to take a class everyday!

★★★★★ — Astrid, Mar 2025

I absolutely love Pure Barre Lake Nona! From the moment you walk in, the energy is so welcoming, uplifting, and motivating. The workouts are challenging in the best way! I always leave feeling stronger, more toned, and so accomplished. Kaylee, Marissa, and Anna are incredible instructors.

Your first barre class at Pure Barre

New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.

Barre is low-impact, so it suits most bodies and fitness levels — but if you're pregnant or working around an injury, check with a doctor and let your instructor know so they can offer modifications.
