My wife attended Pure Barre for over a year. She was already fit (a runner and softball player) and this form of exercise was highly beneficial in developing her muscles like nothing I have ever seen. I highly recommend this beautiful new Pure Barre location near Arbor Springs.
This is such a great studio with awesome instructors. Workouts are always challenging and changing, I never feel bored with my workouts. The four different class formats are great and I enjoy mixing it up throughout the week. It’s always super clean and the owners are very friendly.
I love how Pure Barre has transformed my 69 year old body (and mind)! The instructors are excellent, and the workouts are challenging, effective and varied so I don’t get bored. And hey, what’s not to like about feeling 40 again!
Looking for a place where fitness meets a supportive community? You’ll find it at Pure Barre Arbor Springs in Newnan! I've been a member since day one, and I can honestly say that it’s changed my life. I never used to work out, and now I go 5-6 times a week (and actually love it!).
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
