I've been going here for over a year and I absolutely love it. I always like to try new things and have tried almost every workout out there (from pilates to pole fitness) and this is the only one that I've truly stuck with. I am addicted and couldn't be happier about this addiction.
I've been doing Pure Barre for almost 3 years and I still love it as much as when I started. All the instructors are great, the music is energizing, and the workout is challenging, yet very effective. A class is never duplicated because there are new and different exercises, and each class is fun and engaging.

When I walked in to take my first class at Pure Barre I was SUPER nervous and intimidated, but the staff in Mission Viejo IMMEDIATELY welcomed me with a smile and reassured me that everyone feels that way at first. That was over two years ago and I am now completely HOOKED.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
