From the reviews
Rachel is an INCREDIBLE instructor!! ❤️ I have been attending Pure Barre all over the country for the past 15 years and she is by far one of the most positive, energetic teachers I have ever had the pleasure of taking a class with. Her energy and positive vibes radiate the whole studio!
Pure Barre Kildeer is an amazing studio that has truly transformed my workouts! It’s owned by incredible women who genuinely care about each member, creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The class schedule is perfect for a busy working parent, making it easy to stay consistent.
I began my Pure Barre journey two years ago after a shoulder injury landed me in physical therapy. My therapist encouraged me to work on my strength and flexibility to help my shoulder continue to heal. A friend encouraged me to come to a PB class with her.
If you’re skeptical about Pure Barre, don’t be. It’s life changing and super addictive. The classes are low impact but still challenge you. It’s definitely quality over quantity here. I’ve taken zumba classes for over 5 years now and my body plateaued after I lost the initial weight after the first 8 months.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
