From the reviews
I have tried many different work out styles and gyms throughout the years and Barre has been the best fit; I wish I discovered it years ago. The instructors are motivating and positive. The owner is very approachable and helpful with any and all questions. I can’t say enough good things.
The Barre Code AH is a fun, welcoming, and convenient place to work out! The instructors are fabulous and it's really the only type of exercise I've ever stuck with. The format of the classes and the instructors definitely keep you motivated!
I started at The Barre Code about a month ago and could not be more pleased. They have so many fun options for workouts. The multiple instructors change up the routines each class to keep things fresh and fun. The kids room has been a convenient place to have my little one stay while I get a morning work out in.
The instructors are both encouraging and challenging, getting you to push yourself to a healthy limit. The combination of instructors' coaching and music is really fun! Also, there's a welcoming vibe with instructors and others who go, friendly and extremely encouraging.
Your first barre class at barre3
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
