From the reviews
I tried PB at several other studios and it didn’t feel like the right workout for me. However, I joined Keystone and it was a GREAT fit! They have great classes at a variety of times with a strong mix of formats. My favorite format is align. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive here.
Love Pure Barre. The teacher's do a great job making sure you have the correct form and encourage you to push yourself a bit yet modify if you feel you feel you need to without guilt! Love the personal touch!

Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
