From the reviews
Pretty much my favorite place on Earth. I came the first time because a friend from out of town wanted me to try it and I'm an excellent hostess. I was hooked immediately. The franchise owner, Brooke, and all of the instructors are incredibly welcoming and supportive.
Pure Barre has done a lot of positive things in my life!! I am a much stronger person since joining! I have made a lot of new friends also! I had open heart surgery 5 years ago and just went back to Mayo in October and all my numbers have dropped and did 112% on my stress test!!
I love Pure Barre Green Bay!! I have been going for over 2 years now. It has made a huge difference in my physical and mental health. I love how I feel after class! The owner and the instructors are amazing.
I can't say enough great things about Pure Barre Green Bay! The instructors, the classes, the owner, the music, the atmosphere, and all the ladies I have met along the way. Pure Barre is such a wonderful community that is inclusive, challenging, and FUN! I would HIGHLY recommend anyone interested to give it a try.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
