From the reviews
I am new to the Vail valley, new to Pure Barre and let's face it, after years of neglecting myself, new to working out. I have been wanting to try Pure Barre for awhile now and always talked myself out of it.
Now that I’m 15 classes deep, I wanted to leave a review. I look forward to attending these classes, they’re very challenging (which I love), but the instructors are incredibly encouraging! I have already noticed a change in my mind & body since attending, it’s quite addictive.
If you are truly wanting to get in shape then this is the place to do it. The amount of insentive they give you to come in and get in shape and feel good is off the charts. I am one who struggles to motivate and they know how to draw you in. There is not a single instructor in there that I don’t like.
I love Pure Barre Vail Valley! It's a fantastic, fun full body workout! It never gets old or boring, the format is the same for each type of class but each class is different. You can make the class as difficult as you want based on your own personal needs, there are tons of modifications if needed.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
