Kimberly probably had the best class that i’ve ever took. My legs were quivering after, she knows how to maintain a positive and motivating environment while pushing you to be your absolute best!
I’ve been loving Pure Barre and the women at this studio. I mostly attend Lea’s classes and she is wonderful. Would recommend :-).
I cannot even begin to explain how Pure Barre has changed my life for the better. I came across Pure Barre when I was a class pass member, it had been something that I have always wanted to try but never really had the courage to take a fitness class.
Love this studio! First off it’s really pretty and I love working out with windows especially in the summer. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoy taking class here especially Kimberly’s classes. Pure barre offers something for everyone and is attainable for any level of fitness.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
