From the reviews
I love Pure Barre! It gives me time to focus on myself while doing something positive for my body. I really enjoy the variety of class formats, the physical results I’ve seen, and the supportive community. Instructors are great and love seeing the friendly familiar faces in class. :)
I had the most fun with the best instructor!! Callie made the class tough but so very fun!!
This Pure Barre studio is great!! I have lower back trouble and in the past other work out classes (not pure barre) always ended up hurting my back. In the few months that I’ve been taking pure barre classes not only have I not had a single injury but I believe I have strengthened my back. The teachers are great!!
I love pure barre! I have been taking classes for a few years now and recommend anyone to try it! It’s great way to get stronger and toned. I love all the formats and it’s always different!!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
