From the reviews
I have never done barre workout before and I joined Pure Barre Highland Creek in May 2025 since I moved to Charlotte. I love the workout and the community here. It’s life changing. I have never had that much motivation to go to the gym and I have been done barre at this studio 3 to 5 times a week since I joined.
I've done barre in the past in other places, but this location is my favorite. The staff are always so friendly and have been so helpful when I've had questions. The classes are ALWAYS a true workout and the instructors are great about giving you modifications or more challenging cues.
This place literally changed my life! No exaggeration! I took an intro with some friends just to try barre and fell in love with the challenge and style of workout. The team at PB Highland Creek is extremely welcoming and just fun to be around!
It was AMAZING!!! Went with my bestie to do a class, we didn’t know what to expect and boy oh boy was it fun but challenging. The instructor was great and very patient and informative. Don’t hesitate to try the class.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
