“I haven't been a member for very long, I'm still a beginner.”

From the reviews
My favorite workout! The teachers and classmates are so great and welcoming. I started in April 2025. I go 3-4 times per week and I just love it. It has really helped me get in shape and increase my fitness level over just solitary gym workouts. It's super fun and challenging and just a great place to be!
I’ve been going to classes at pure barre Buffalo for just over 12 months. I was a bit hesitant to try at first as I’m not a delicate yoga type woman and didn’t think I’d fit in. I needn’t have worried.
I can't say enough good things about Pure Barre! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warmth and encouragement. The atmosphere is so inviting and the staff are incredibly welcoming. The classes are absolutely fantastic!
I absolutely love Pure Barre! The classes are such a perfect mix of challenging, energizing, and fun. Every workout leaves me feeling stronger, more toned, and accomplished. The studio atmosphere is always welcoming, clean, and motivating. Taaliba is hands down one of the best instructors I’ve ever had.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
