From the reviews
Pure Barre has truly changed my life. After many years of not being able to work out due to multiple injuries, I honestly never thought I would find a form of exercise that felt both safe and effective—let alone something I would genuinely love.
I am so happy I joined. The instructors are top-notch and attentive, every class feels like a private lesson. Each class is a total body workout leaving you feeling satisfied. The receptionists are really sweet and the members are friendly. This is worth the unlimited membership.
My mom and I signed up for Pure Barre last December. We wanted to try something new and fun and thought Barre would be perfect. We did an engage class with Amanda B, who was so incredibly nice and thorough.
i started pure barre less than a year ago, and i was a little intimidated at first because i have never done any type of workout like this , but in just a week or two i fell in love with the friendly and encouraging community!!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
