From the reviews
My wife is one of the teachers here, so I’ve had a chance to watch not only her, but the entire team during trainings and even participate in several classes myself. All I can say is this group of women is incredible.
I have been looking for a fitness community in the Tri-Cities for a little over a year now. Let me just say, I have found it!! Pure Barre is not only a workout, it is a community of incredible people. The energy that shines the moment you walk into this studio is so empowering.
Jenn has done an amazing job bringing Pure Barre to our area! She has created such a welcoming and encouraging environment where everyone feels comfortable, no matter their fitness level. Her passion, energy, and genuine care for her clients really shine through.
As someone that has low range of motion and very rarely works out I was intimidated by a barre class, but it was wonderful! The instructor was able to give me extra correction where I needed it, and I did not feel at all behind. Everyone in the studio is so friendly and accommodating.
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
