From the reviews
I love Pure Barre so much. It really is the best workout. I’ve been taking classes since 2018 and had to take some time off from an injury I had with my arm. When I came back to take my first class since I stopped coming, Cassi was able to assist me so I could modify my form and still get a solid workout in.
I absolutely adore this studio! I’ve discovered that Pure Barre is an excellent way to strengthen my muscles and improve my posture. Although I started feeling weak, I’ve noticed a significant increase in my strength with each class. The instructors here are incredibly helpful and supportive.
Jennifer is the ultimate Pure Barre professional! Every direction or suggestion is met with complete knowledge of Pure Barre standards and practices. She models positions with ease plus has such a positive, upbeat attitude. No wonder she's a client favorite!!! Did I mention her smile?
I have been going to Pure Barre for several years and visited many different studios. The Vinings studio definitely is one of the best out there. They have a great class schedule with a variety of class formats daily. Lynn is an awesome instructor!
Your first barre class at Pure Barre
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
