From the reviews
I have been attending Pulse Pilates for about 3 months now. I started going weekly to the Reformer class and I was very out of shape!!! Kim is an excellent teacher and helps everyone from beginner to expert, young to old, great shape to “beginning the journey again” shape adapt the workout to meet your needs.
Amazing! Kim is a natural born teacher. I've been with her for over 2 years, started with her mat class. I love the variety and how I am able to be challenged each and every session. What's great is that you can come in as a first- timer and get A great workout.
Wow. Mahomet has needed a place like this! The owner Kim is an amazing instructor and has a very welcoming personality. She makes you feel right at home from the time you walk in. Her pilates sequences are creative but not intimidating.
Positive, fun, energetic while still being a super chilled environment. Newbies and regulars are welcome, and encourage one another. Kim adapts the workouts based upon your comfort and level of experience. I always feel so much better afterwards.
Your first barre class at Pulse Pilates, LLC
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
