From the reviews
I’ve been coming here to take classes for almost two years and have been an instructor here for five months and absolutely love it!! As a client, the studio is clean, comfortable, and has all the props you’ll need to get a great workout! The staff are all so welcoming, knowledgeable, and personable.
I can’t explain how much I love Pivot Barre Studio. I am a local pelvic floor therapist and finally feel like I found a place where I can come and feel safe working out and relaxed knowing they have the knowledge and background to give the proper cues and good positions.
Joined for my first barre class in years and really enjoyed it! The studio is super cute, the staff was very friendly and my instructor, Tori, was fabulous! The class covered each muscle group, moved quickly but was very challenging (in a good way!).
I just love this barre studio!! The carpet on the floor is so nice for cushion under my knees. Merrill is a fantastic instructor and always makes sure my form is on lock💪🏼 Marz is also such a welcoming presence at the studio! The music is always high energy and fabulous. Giving me the shakes bad, but I love it!!!
Your first barre class at Pivot Barre Studio
New to barre? Almost everyone is their first time, and a good studio expects beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. What to expect: barre blends small isometric holds and tiny pulses at a ballet barre with light weights and mat work — it's low-impact and joint-friendly, but it works muscles you didn't know you had, so a little shaking in your legs is the point, not a problem. Rest whenever you need to; no one will bat an eye. What to wear: fitted leggings and a top you can move in — nothing baggy, so the instructor can see your form. Grip socks: most barre studios require grip socks — bring a pair or check whether they sell them at the front desk; the grippy soles keep you steady during the pulses. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people say their third class feels completely different from their first.
